The Demox company was established in 2020, and its headquarters is located in Puławy. The company was established by two scientists: Dr. Piotr Kleina Schmidt and Łukasz Polak, conducting research on solving the problem of non-invasive diagnostics of the eye parasite – Demodex. The parasite is responsible for the so-called dry eye problem. The flagship project of Demox is the introduction to the global market of a simple, non-invasive and effective test that allows to confirm or exclude the presence of demodicosis on the patient’s eyelid in real time.
